Connection problems. Now can't uninstall.

I've suddenly had problems with Core FTP Lite with the following message:
"Connect socket #812 to 71.63.84.4, port 21...",
which is not an error message, but it just sits there and never connects. When I try to end the program, it does not respond.

I tried to uninstall, then download Core FTP LE, which is ALSO giving me the same problem. I then tried to uninstall LE and my Add/Remove Programs screen just freezes and will not remove the program.

Downloaded Revo Uninstaller, which gets hung up on the step which starts the application's uninstall program.

So, I cannot USE OR UNINSTALL either Lite OR LE. HELP PLEASE!!
