local directory info?

i am trying to get a printable file listing of the files on the local side as well as the server side. the option is there on both sides, right click, directory commands, directory info... but on the local side it just flashes a cmd window and nothing comes up. is this a bug, a left-out feature, or something only allowed on pro version? this has happened on more than one pc.
