It seems that after an hour or so of uploading (lots of files ranging from 5K to 124Mb), all the transfers start going into Retry status. Just today I was attempting to upload about 1.5Gb in files and with about 900Mb remaining everything was a Retry.
I also am going to check with my host (where I'm sending the files), but I'm supposed to have unlimited storage, so that shouldn't be the issue.
