backup siteprofiles

Post by PeterR »

Im trying to make a backup of my site-profiles in CuteFTPLite - I have 7 siteprofiles.

I have rightclick on each siteprofile, and selecting export - I have tryed to rightclick on the sitemanager (without selecting any siteprofile) and selecting export.

When opening the exported files i txt-editor, the result seams the same in all export files - it shows the setting for the first siteprofile (I can recognize the profilename), and no further as far as I can see.

Quite confusing - am I doing this wrong ?

Best regards
Peter

Is the backup feature found in the menu?

I have looked through the menu and don't see an option to backup. How do I do a backup?

Why is my signature not displaying correctly even though it looks fine in preview mode?

Just answered my own question...

To backup CoreFTP you need to open Site Manager and then right-click on any of the sites. That will bring up a menu where you can export. While it would seen you are only exporting (backing up) one site, you will actually be backing up all the sites/servers. ddon't give it a txt extension though.

I'm unable to locate a backup as well. Right-clicking on the site manager does nothing. Did this feature become available on a specific build?

Would backing up config.dat be useful? What about passwords? Would they be lost?

Thanks.
